a) Server log data. When you access our website, your browser automatically transmits log data including IP address (truncated where possible), date/time of access, pages visited, HTTP status, bytes transferred, referring URL, and browser/OS type.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable, secure website operation). Retention: 30 days unless required for security investigation. Hosting: GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) — covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
b) Contact form and direct email. When you send an enquiry we collect: name, email address, company, company size, area of interest, and message content. Optional fields are voluntary.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent for optional fields). Retention: 3 years after correspondence closes; contract-related data up to 10 years (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO). Form processor: Formspree Inc. (Wilmington, DE, USA) — EU-US Data Privacy Framework. c) Call booking. Scheduling is handled by a third-party booking platform. Their privacy policy applies to that processing. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
d) Phone calls. If you call us on +49 1522 4001111, we process your phone number and call content for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
This website uses only technically necessary cookies required for the site to function. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. Language preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage under the key freera_lang — this is a client-side setting only and is not transmitted to any server.
Your personal data is not shared with third parties except with processors acting strictly on our instructions under an Art. 28 GDPR data processing agreement (hosting provider, email/form processor, scheduling provider), where legally required, or where you have given explicit consent. We do not sell your data.
Some processors operate outside the EEA (primarily in the USA). We ensure adequate protection via EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
